Faculty Full Time - Dental Hygiene El Centro
Teaches students effectively in assigned classes and maintains office hours for student consultation in accordance with procedures outlined in the Dallas County Community College Board Policy Manual and/or agreed upon with immediate supervisor. The Dental Hygiene Program is seeking a nine (9) month full-time faculty to promote and encourage student success through quality, innovative instruction and real world learning experiences beginning Fall 2021. The faculty will develop, prepare and teach a variety of assignments consisting of didactic, clinical and laboratory instruction, including the evaluation and tutoring of dental hygiene students. This position serves as one of three lead faculty and assists the Program Director.
Faculty Full Time - Agriculture El Centro
Teaches students effectively in assigned classes and maintains office hours for student consultation in accordance with procedures outlined in the Dallas County Community College Board Policy Manual and/or agreed upon with immediate supervisor. Assist in the development, growth, and maintenance of the Agriculture Academy and partnerships involving agriculture program at Dallas College. Serve as subject matter expert and provide data-informed advice and recommendations to the Dean of Academic Affairs. Serve as point of contact for students interested in agriculture careers. Work with academic advisors to ensure students in agriculture program adhere to appropriate guided pathway such that time to degree completion is maximized. Assist integration of agriculture related activities and programs that are likely to be of interest to agriculture students in the STEM League and STEM Institute activities.
